Ron Fournet, 64 is the CEO and Founder of BLAZE Leadership & Technology Transformation. Ron began his career in U. S. Army intelligence, in a variety of high tech analytic environments and command field assignments. He then spent the next 15 years in a series of technical management positions at GTE, US West, and Equifax where he served as SVP & Chief Technology & Information Officer. In 1999 Mr. Fournet was named President and CEO of DBT (NYSE:DBT), which he grew to 130M in revenues and then sold to ChoicePoint (NYSE:CPS) for a half billion dollars. In 2003, Ron was named CEO of InsightAmerica, Inc., where he tripled revenues before selling the company to Acxiom Corporation (NSDQ: ACXM). At Acxiom, he was President of the Risk Mitigation Services Division before leaving to found GuideSTAR Technologies in 2007. Mr. Fournet has a BS in Urban Planning and Architecture from Louisiana State University, an MS in Psychology from the University of Illinois, and an MS in Systems Management & Operations Research from the University of Southern California; and has taught graduate courses in Technology Management and Leadership development for over 30 years.
Heather Coogan is a Practitioner Principal in BLAZE Transformation™. She retired from an illustrious career in law enforcement spanning 37 years, beginning as a cadet for the Denver Police Department and finishing her career as the Chief of Police for the Littleton Police Department. She has the distinction of being the first female municipal Chief of Police in the State of Colorado. Her extensive background with 25 years in supervisory and management positions has given her a unique perspective on issues of personnel development to executive leadership. She has incorporated these experiences and insights into the field of Leadership Transformation. She has held leadership positions. In 2014, Chief Coogan received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement Association. In addition, she lectures nationally on issues of law enforcement, career development and leadership. She is certified as a Senior Professional Human Resources SPHR- SCP and enjoys working with leadership at all levels.
David McGuire, 50 is a Practitioner Principal in BLAZE Leadership & Technology Transformation. He is an experienced professional and entrepreneur who has fulfilled a number of technical, managerial, and executive positions across a broad array of industries, including: manufacturing and distribution, utilities, insurance, technology & e-commerce, consulting, government, financial services, and healthcare. David brings key expertise in Technology, Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, Audit, and Regulatory Compliance, and was a founder of Ensuren Corporation, currently a multi-million dollar critical infrastructure firm in operation since 2002. David has been active for numerous years with the Information Security Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA-ISC), and currently holds the following widely recognized designations: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation with the Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP) concentration from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) program.
Mark Normand, 56, is a Practitioner Principal in BLAZE Leadership & Technology Transformation. Mark is an experienced past independent business owner and professional who has held sales and business development positions spanning several diverse industries, including manufacturing and distribution, automotive aftermarket, petroleum industry and technical software services.He has served in several capacities with GuideSTAR Technologies since its inception in 2007, focusing on business development, alliances and product deployment engineering, in both commercial and government sectors. Mark currently assists in strategic business development and product engineering, focusing the resources of BLAZE to ensure high customer satisfaction across all product lines and to aid in the development of sustaining leadership.
